Sometimes, the warmth we share can mean a lifetime for hundreds of others – Chawla Charity Foundation delivers various types of blankets to help stray dogs and cats in Chiang Mai.

Sometimes, the warmth we share is more than just an ordinary item—it is life itself for hundreds of homeless stray dogs and cats with no shelter, no one to care for them, and no escape from the biting cold. The blankets we provide become their path to safety, comfort, and hope for a better tomorrow. When warmth is passed on, it is no longer just fabric, but a heartfelt message of care—affirming that every life, no matter how small, in pain, or alone, deserves to be protected and loved. With this belief, the Chawla Charity Foundation has joined hands with the Santisook Foundation for Stray Dogs and Cats to deliver essential blankets to strays in Chiang Mai, ensuring they receive the warmth they truly deserve.

The Santisook Foundation for Stray Dogs and Cats, located at 114/281 Moo 1, Wiang Doi Village, Pa Pong Subdistrict, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai 50220, is a final refuge for abandoned, sick, or neglected strays—those who have never known warmth or kindness. Here, every animal receives food, clean water, medical care, and a safe haven where they can rest without fear. The foundation also extends its help to animals in Ban Mae Subdistrict, San Pa Tong District, Chiang Mai 50120, ensuring that love and care reach every corner where small lives are still waiting for compassion. For them, a warm blanket or a gentle touch can be the one thing that makes them feel they still have value in this world.

On Saturday, August 9, 2015, the Chawla Charity Foundation team, led by Mr. Witoon Jomngam, Ms. Kanthana Kongsaengchu, and Ms. Worawut Sakphaet, traveled to the Santisuk Stray Dogs and Cats Foundation to deliver 884 pieces of cloth. These pieces will be used for various purposes to provide shelter to 240 dogs and 160 cats, totaling 400 lives. Each piece of cloth was meticulously prepared to provide them with comfortable shelter and safety from the cold. This trip not only provided warmth to the animals in Doi Saket, but also sent love to the children in San Pa Tong.

Throughout its journey, the Chawla Charity Foundation has never ceased to extend a helping hand—whether by aiding disaster victims, opening new horizons for orphans, providing essential supplies to those in need, or continuously caring for and supporting stray dogs and cats.

This time, we have poured even more dedication and love into bringing warmth and assistance to stray animals who cannot tell us when they are cold or hungry. Every one of our projects is driven by the belief that “every life matters”—whether human or animal—and we remain committed to standing beside every heart in need of hope and encouragement.
