Bringing Warmth to the Highlands: Jawala Charity Foundation Donates Essential Textile Supplies to Support Saphan Boon Kru 1, Enhancing the Quality of Life for Ethnic Communities in Remote Areas Across All Seven Districts of Mae Hong Son Province

Warmth that travels beyond a thousand winding roads… because care knows no boundaries and has no end. Although Mae Hong Son Province is characterized by mountainous terrain and challenging transportation routes, the Jawala Charity Foundation recognizes the importance of improving the quality of life for people living in remote communities. Recently, the Foundation carried out its mission of delivering care by donating clean textile supplies and bedding to support the work of Saphan Boon Kru 1, a public benefit volunteer organization dedicated to providing assistance to bedridden patients and underprivileged individuals in remote areas across all seven districts of Mae Hong Son Province. This initiative aims to ensure that the warmth of sharing reaches those in the most inaccessible communities thoroughly and equitably.

Saphan Boon Kru 1 (สะพานบุญครู ๑) is a public benefit organization primarily driven by volunteers and public donations. Its core mission is to provide assistance to bedridden patients, persons with disabilities, underprivileged individuals, ethnic communities living in the highlands, and stateless persons who do not receive government welfare in Mae Hong Son Province. The organization’s operations cover all seven districts of the province, including Sop Moei, Mae Sariang, Mae La Noi, Khun Yuam, Pang Mapha, Pai, and Mueang Mae Hong Son. The textile supplies donated by the Foundation will be used to support the organization’s social assistance activities, including maintaining hygiene for bedridden patients and providing warmth to households living in remote and hard-to-reach areas where such necessities are essential for basic living. This contribution consists of 947 essential textile items for daily living and hygiene, including: Bedding for Rest and Comfort 168 bed sheets (6-foot and 3-foot sizes), 167 duvet covers (6-foot and 3-foot sizes), 217 pillowcases. Clean Textile Supplies for Hygiene 151 bath towels, 150 hand towels, 94 floor towels

The Jawala Charity Foundation firmly believes that “True warmth should be accessible to everyone, everywhere.” Supporting strong local organizations with direct access to the communities they serve, such as Saphan Boon Kru 1, enables resources to be transformed into the most effective force for social impact. The Foundation is proud to play a part in bridging social gaps and bringing smiles to people living in remote areas. Looking ahead, the Foundation remains committed to expanding collaboration with various sectors to create greater opportunities and enhance the quality of life for fellow human beings, empowering them to move forward with stability and equality.
