Every communication is like a bridge of hope that helps patients receive care. Chawla Charity Foundation donated wireless internet equipment to MaeTuen Hospital, Chiang Mai Province to boost the morale of patients during the time they need help the most.

In an era where technology plays a crucial role in the development of healthcare, a stable and high-speed internet connection not only improves the efficiency of medical personnel, but also acts as a bridge between doctors and patients, leading to better healthcare. The Chawla Charity Foundation continues to support healthcare systems in remote areas by providing internet connectivity devices to strengthen the network infrastructure of MaeTuen Hospital in Chiang Mai, a community hospital serving the local population. This support not only improves the stability of the hospital’s communication system, but also allows doctors to access important information and coordinate with large medical institutions more efficiently.

MaeTuen Hospital is a 10-bed hospital that serves an average of 60 patients per day. It provides services to people in remote areas in MaeTuen Subdistrict and nearby Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province. The hospital is located in a high mountainous area. Access is difficult, with winding roads and some gravel roads. Therefore, a complete range of technological equipment is very important for this hospital. Supporting modern technological equipment not only allows doctors and nurses to provide more effective treatment, but also allows patients to receive faster and more accurate care.

On March 28, 2025, the team from Chawla Foundation donated technological equipment to MaeTuen Hospital. As soon as we stepped into the hospital, we saw the tired but hopeless eyes of the doctors and nurses, patients waiting patiently for treatment, and the emergency room with only a few beds full of people in need of help. The doctors and nurses received technological equipment, including 10 Ubiquiti Unifi UAP LR WiFi access points, 10 24V PoE power supplies, 1 TP-Link 24-port switch, and 2 boxes of 100-meter UTP Cat6 LAN cables to increase the efficiency of the medical staff and help provide faster and higher quality care to patients at MaeTuen Hospital.

The Chawla Foundation believes that every act of giving has meaning. The support for wireless internet today not only enhances the efficiency of medical treatment but also serves as a bridge that connects patients with their families, even when they are far apart. Receiving encouragement from loved ones helps them gather the strength to fight illness and recover more quickly. Every connection thus becomes a source of hope, ensuring that patients do not feel isolated during the most critical times.

When we look back at the past, we can see that even the smallest collaborations we have made together can bring about great change for Mae Tuen Hospital. The gratitude expressed by the doctors and nurses reinforces our belief that ‘giving’ is the greatest thing we can offer one another. Join us in being a part of this change by supporting and donating to the Chawla Foundation, because giving… is endless.

Chawla Charity Foundation is committed to continue its mission of love and sharing to provide equal opportunity for everyone to take care of their health because good health is the foundation of a strong life and the ultimate hope of everyone.
