On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Chawla Charity Foundation donated computer and sports equipment to Ban Rong Khee Lek School in Choeng Doi Subdistrict, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province. This initiative aimed to support education and promote good health for students in the area.
Ban Rong Khee Lek School serves 125 students from kindergarten to grade 6, with only ten teachers. Given its limited resources, the Chawla Charity Foundation recognized the importance of enhancing learning and health for children and stepped in to provide “opportunity” and “dreams” to these young individuals who will grow into the backbone of society.
The warm reception from students and teachers alike created an atmosphere filled with smiles, joy, and excitement. The school received three fully equipped computer sets, which will open up new technological learning avenues and foster essential digital skills. Additionally, nine sets of sports equipment were provided to encourage physical activity and promote health. These included volleyballs, a pump, volleyball nets, chair balls, badminton rackets, shuttlecocks, badminton nets, sepak takraw balls, and sepak takraw nets. The day concluded with a delightful treat of Dunkin’ Donuts, bringing happiness and laughter to all the children.
