On the journey toward building futures for the youth, basic necessities that may seem minor in daily life can become a powerful driving force. Recently, the Chawla Charity Foundation shared its kindness by donating textile supplies to the Saeng Sawan Welfare Foundation and Saeng Sawan School (Orphanage), located in Nakhon Sawan Tok Sub-district, Mueang District, Nakhon Sawan Province, to support the quality of life of the children and youth under the foundation’s care.
With over 50 years of trusted dedication, the Saeng Sawan Welfare Foundation and Saeng Sawan School in Nakhon Sawan Province play a vital role as a sanctuary, offering new opportunities to numerous orphans, abandoned children, and youth from underprivileged families. Operating under a transparent foster care system alongside laying educational and vocational foundations through local schooling, this place is far more than just a ‘home’—it is a space that builds futures, enabling children to grow with stability.
To ensure this contribution addresses actual needs and yields the maximum benefit for the foundation’s operations, the donated items consist of 308 bath towels, 255 hand towels, and 169 bath mats. These have been distributed to the children for their daily use. The Foundation firmly believes that good physical health and a clean, safe living environment are essential foundations that enable children to learn and develop themselves to their full potential, without having to worry about the shortage of necessary daily items.
This initiative aligns with the core resolution of the Chawla Charity Foundation, which maintains that ‘a good quality of life is the solid foundation of education.’ We believe that donating these items today is the most worthwhile ‘investment’ in human resources. Our pride does not lie in the volume of items delivered, but in being a part of supporting an organisation that is deeply dedicated to society, paving the way for youth to grow into resilient adults, and continuously serving as a vital force in reducing social inequality.
