Chawla Charity Foundation Spreads Warmth to Homeless Animals Donating Blankets and Food to Support Stray Dogs and Cats at Wat Weluwanaram, Lampang Province

With this strong determination, the foundation continuously engages in social activities that extend beyond helping people in need to include the welfare of stray animals. On January 25, 2025, the foundation donated essential items and food to Wat Weluwanaram, a shelter for stray animals located in Mae Tha District, Lampang Province. The temple currently cares for over 700 dogs and 300 cats, all of which require proper shelter and adequate nutrition. To support their efforts, the foundation provided both supplies and pet food to help alleviate the burden of caring for these animals.

The items donated by the Chawla Charity Foundation play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for stray animals. Each contribution is thoughtfully selected to address both the basic needs and the emotional well-being of these vulnerable creatures:

Waterproof Mats help prevent moisture and dirt from the ground, providing a clean and safe resting area for animals.
Comforters and Blankets offer warmth and softness, especially important during cold weather or for weak and vulnerable animals.
Pillows support the bodies of sick or elderly animals, reducing pressure points and aiding in their recovery process.
Dog Food serves as a vital source of nutrition, ensuring that the dogs receive essential nutrients to maintain their health and strength.
