The big, bright eyes of children sparkled with excitement, and laughter echoed throughout Wat Pakhoi Tai School as the Chawla Charity Foundation brought joy by donating fully equipped computers and various sports equipment. The moment the children saw the computers and sports equipment, their faces lit up with smiles, bursting with joy and excitement. These computers and sports equipment will be vital tools in opening up the world of learning and developing essential skills for growth.
The donation includes five complete computer sets, serving as vital tools to help children learn how to use computers—a crucial skill in the digital age. The children will enjoy learning through online media, such as watching videos about science, nature, or history, which will help enhance their understanding and imagination through engaging visuals and sounds. Additionally, they can play educational games that help develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Teachers can also use computers to prepare lessons and teaching materials through various programs and stay updated with new teaching techniques, ensuring that the children learn and enjoy themselves simultaneously.
The sports equipment provided includes three each of footballs, volleyballs, sepak takraw balls, and handballs/share balls, along with two air pumps. These sports items not only help promote good health but also develop physical skills, agility, and strength. Furthermore, regular sports participation and team play enhance mental health, bringing happiness to the children. It teaches them teamwork, sharing, and respect for others, which are essential life skills for the future.
Wat Pakhoi Tai School is a small school located in a suburban community on the outskirts of Mueang Chiang Mai District, near Mae Rim District. The school has 13 teachers and 167 students, ranging from kindergarten to grade 6. Learning tools are thus crucial in helping develop the children so they can learn and grow together in a diverse society.
The donation of computers and sports equipment to Wat Pakhoi Tai School is part of an ongoing project by the foundation to affirm its commitment to creating a better society.
