Give a New Chance to Life for Urgent Patients: Chawla Charity Foundation joins in supporting the purchase of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for the Volunteer Medical Association.

Along the unpredictable journey of life, our breath can be snatched away at any moment, especially by the silent killer, “sudden cardiac arrest.” If not treated promptly, the Chawla Charity Foundation recognizes this problem and is committed to passing on the breath of hope by supporting the medical equipment procurement project with the Volunteer Doctors Association (PDA) by donating 20,000 baht to purchase Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), which are crucial for saving the lives of patients in emergencies, particularly those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. Timely use of an AED can significantly increase the patient’s chance of survival.

The Volunteer Doctors Association (PDA) is an organization established to help people and impoverished patients who lack access to healthcare and to collaborate with the government and private sector to alleviate suffering and promote well-being for people nationwide. The Volunteer Doctors Association (PDA) is a non-profit organization or charity that seeks only to receive funding for the ‘Medical Equipment Procurement Project’, which aims to raise funds for the following medical equipment:

  • Provide medical equipment to general people with disabilities to enable them to live more conveniently.
  • Provide medical equipment to bedridden patients in need for their daily routine and for use in their occupations to support themselves and their families.
  • Strengthen cooperation in assisting disadvantaged people with disabilities between government agencies, organizations, people with disabilities, companies, stores, foundations, charitable organizations, and other NGOs.

The Chawla Charity Foundation is delighted to join forces with the Volunteer Medical Association to support the medical equipment procurement project as a clear example of community engagement and collaboration between private sector and charitable organizations to build a strong society. It demonstrates care and concern for the community and society as a whole, not just by donating money but also by inspiring everyone to see the importance of being a part of and creating a strong society based on knowledge, understanding, and awareness of long-term healthcare.

Because everyone’s breath is precious, with a little compassion from each of you, we can turn our breath into an “opportunity” to create a society full of care. You can donate to support social welfare projects together with the Chawla Charity Foundation at:
