SANTA CLAUS IS COMING…Chawla Charity Foundation made an appearance as Santa at Bandekbunthong Foundation with a special lunch and various festive activities. On December 23, 2023, at Bandekbunthong Foundation, 174 Sanpong, Mae Rim, Chiang Mai. We prepared a delicious lunch, including pizza, donuts, bread, and soft drink. We also provided cute gifts to the 16 children (ages 5-12), such as children’s toys, stationery, and drinks. We shared smiles and fun with each other in the warm atmosphere of Christmas and New Year 2024.

Bandekbunthong Foundation was established as a central hub to help orphaned children, children in rural areas, children with social problems, and children whose families are in difficult situations. The foundation’s goal is to encourage children to have the opportunity to receive education, housing, and support until they graduate and can support themselves. In addition, the foundation is also a center for disabled people and bedridden patients. Mrs. Nampueng Thampin, the foundation’s managing director, oversees the management of food, supplies, and educational equipment. The small house of the children is also open to external organizations and philanthropists who come to visit and offer love, warmth, and encouragement to the children.

The activities that we enjoyed together today included musical chairs game , balloon stomping, singing, dancing, and playing music. The atmosphere of fun between the children and the Santas from the Chawla Charity Foundation was another day that both givers and receivers felt fulfilled. The Santas received thanks from the smiles and impressions on the children’s faces. The children also received a full heart and a cute gift from the Santas. Although the time spent together was brief, it was another memory and good time for the children to have the motivation and grow up to be good adults. They felt the love of those around them and grew up brightly without feeling lonely, surrounded by love and warmth at the Bandekbunthong Foundation.
